• What is your default thread if no thread upgrade is selected:
    • We use nylon or polyester thread, depending on what we have available at the time of stitching.
  • What is the difference between nylon/polyester to linen thread?
    • Nylon or polyester thread is man-made, whereas linen thread is spun from natural fibers obtained from flax plants. The fibers are able to absorb the dyes more efficiently therefore the colors are more vibrant and enhance the saddle stitching technique.
  • You have a  2 - 8 weeks lead time, the gap is quite far apart, why?
    • All of our products are handmade-to-order. Each panels and pockets are hand selected, then cut, assembled, and stitch together. We don't cut corners so what you will be receiving is of only the best and highest quality. At times if we have an increased workload, more often than not we have to adjust our lead time accordingly. Our lead times can be anywhere between 2 - 8 weeks (eight weeks are more for large items) and this depends on the amount of work that we have at the time of your purchase. Please check our front page for the current lead time.

  • Can you explain the difference between unlined, semi-lined, and fully-lined?
    • Unlined:
      • Bi-fold: the "flesh/unfinished" side is visible for the notes/cash compartment.
      • Compact bi-fold: the flesh/unfinished side is visible at the spine.
      • All pockets and under compartments can be seen if you open to place in cards or cash.
    • Semi-Lined:
      • Bi-fold: only the notes/cash compartment is lined with leather.
      • Compact bi-fold: only the spine of the wallet is lined with leather.
      • All pockets and under compartments remains unlined, which means that the "flesh/unfinished" side can be seen if you open to place in cards or cash.
